Let's Celebrate with a Giveaway!

Hi Everyone!                         GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED
Sorry it's a bit late on Friday--but here in Indiana it is still Friday and you know what that means!
I promised a Giveaway today to celebrate going over 100 followers! I have some sweet fabric for you!

Blogging is a learning process, and can require patience and time but also brings such fun and smiles and accomplishmen!  And here I thought it was just going to me about quilting/sewing :)  Example: Today, I was trying to get my comments to number and every code or widget I tried did not work, so I took a break and mowed my yard, killed some weeds (taking my frustration out on the weeds ;) and then came back and tried again--- still no luck, so thus my frustration lateness in getting this posted! But regardless, I can still count the old fashioned way! Yea! I just want to say thanks for following, I read and enjoy all of your comments and try to reply to all of them when possible. I also love to check out and follow your blogs and see what you have been up to! You are all amazing with your creativity and ideas! So much fun!
So without further delay lets get to the goodies:

\
First up is a jelly roll by Moda. It's Simply Color by V and Co. and it is packed with gorgeous colors!
This is one (1) jelly roll but different shots of it so you can see all the color!

Next is a fat quarter bundle for those Christmas/Holiday projects on your list! Have you started yet?

This is Santa's Workshop by Riley Blake!  It consists of 21 fat quarters.
It is so cute and has several colorways - red, aqua, green and white. Just wondering what you would whip up with this stack of fun!

On to the rules:  GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED
1. Since this is all about celebrating and saying Thank You to my followers, you have to be a follower to enter.
2. Leave me a comment on what your favorite go to recipe is for pot luck/carry in's/get togethers.
3. Be sure and leave your email address if you are a no reply blogger, otherwise I cannot reach you if you win and that would be way sad.
4. In your comment be sure to tell me which bundle of goodness you would like if you win--
Color or Christmas?
The winners will be drawn by Random.org and you have through Sunday 9/16 to enter. Winners will be announced on Monday 9/17. First winner drawn gets first choice :)
Good Luck!  GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED

  3. What a generous giveaway! I'm a loyal follower. As to my go-to pot luck dish, I usually bring my favorite tomato basil pasta salad. It's always a hit! I'd love to win either bundle, but the color one is my favorite of the two. :)

    ReplyDelete
  4. I am a follower. For potluck dinners, I like to take homemade mac and cheese. My favorite bundle is the color one.

  5. I don't comment much but I've been following along for a while now :*) Congrats on reaching 100 followers! That is a special milestone.

My favorite go-to recipe is Hash Brown Casserole - YUM! Always come home with an empty dish :*)

My first choice would be the fat quarters - such cute, cute, cute fabrics!!! And I love Christmas fabrics, especially when they are in something other than traditional colors or styles. Unusual is always best in my book! Also love the color jelly roll though, so I would be delighted to win that as well :*)

  6. I like to take dessert to a gathering. Not one particular recipe as I like to try new things. Congrats on your follower milestone, and it looks like you've made progress on the numbering. I like both prizes, but I feel like I've been waiting for Simply Color for ages so it would be my first choice. I follow and enjoy your blog, thanks for the chance to win.

  7. Thanks for the chance! My favorite recipe is super easy. cook a pork shoulder in a crock pot for 6 hours on low, 4 on high, then put in some bottled bbq sauce. I wouldn't use bottled normally but I haven't found a bbq sauce recipe. Put on buns. I would like to win the christmas one. Thanks for the chance!

  8. Congrats on 100 Ginny!! Gosh, I haven't been to a BYO To Share thing in ages, but my new go-to will definitely be sushi!!

And I would choose Simply Color, hands down my favourite line this year!

PS: this is the tute I used for my simple, unassuming, doesn't-stop-at-200 numbering - SO easy and good! http://echinopsaster.blogspot.jp/2012/05/help-with-numbered-comments-in-blogger.htm

  11. Great post! I too feel limited about what I can and just cannot do on my blog without spending hours fooling around ( linky parties...!?...). I like meatballs with a small jar each of grape jelly and chli sauce. Cook on high 6 hours. They are best the second day. Serve over egg noodles. Yum!

  12. Hi - I'm a new follower. Love the Christmas group. I have two staple dishes that I bring to potlucks. In summer I make a pea salad (frozen peas, mayo, grated cheese, bacon pieces, salt, pepper and chopped green peppers. ) My favorite potluck dish in fall/winter is chicken enchilada's. I use precooked chicken and these mix up quickly. Then, bake for 20 minutes and they're ready to go.

  14. Congratulations on 100 followers and what a lovely giveaway, both are gorgeous but if forced to pick I'd go for colour.

I always opt to bring a dessert to a potluck and often make a pavlova or a chocolate torte.

I can't remember how I managed to get my comments numbered but have a look at this blogpost it might help.

  17. I'm a follower, via GFC and Google Reader! My favorite pot-luck dish is Dump Cake (easy, fast and delicious), but for family get-togethers, my sisters usually ask me to make my GIANT 42-cup bowl of Nuts & Bolts (aka Chex Mix). I skip the peanuts, and use lots of pecans, macadamias and cashews, with lots of cayenne pepper, extra Worcestershire, and no pretzels. I rarely bring any home (because they all bag up some for themselves). :)

I would love EITHER prize! I buy both color and Christmas fabrics!

    ReplyDelete
  18. I am your new follower, and I thank YOU for this adorable giveaway! to me both prizes are the same maybe jellyroll comes first but I love Christmas colors as well!
what I like to take is bisquits wetted (just a little) with caffelatte, on one I put Nutella and on the other mascarpone cheese, then I put them togheter and rolled in coconut flakes (serve cool) they're so yummy!

Also, for the numbers to show, you have to actually click on the post you want to see. Good luck!

  24. Congratulations on reaching this wonderful milestone from one of your happy followers! I usually take mini chocolate chip cookie tarts that have a mini Reese Cup in the middle. Total decadent yummminess. I have never brought one back home :-) I would probably choose the Simply Color jelly roll because I have been looking forward to that line forever, but I love the Christmas fabric, too. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway!

  25. Congratulations! I would love to win the Christmas bundle. I can never have too much Christmas fabric.

  26. My go to dish for potlucks is usually chips and dip because I don't cook. If push comes to shove, I will buy meatballs and sauce from Gordon Foods and pop into my crockpot. When I first moved to this area where it is all ductch people who are awesome cooks, I went to a potluck and had to take a dish and the recipe. I went to my local deli picked a salad put in a fancy bowl and took to the dinner. When asked for the recipe, I wrote it down on a card, Put on shoes, take car keys, drive to local deli, pick out best looking salad, take home put in fance bowl. That recipe was then published in a church cookbook two years later.

Mix thoroughly, let stand for a little while (will taste better, since then the vinegar has a chance to do it's work....) and serve. - I can be reached via my Flickr email.
    - I love jelly rolls, so I'd choose the Simply Color jelly roll.

  93. Hello from a new follower! I catered a friend's new year party this year - I made a vast quantity of sausage and apple and juniper* casserole to take along, plus a mountain of mashed potato. One tip I picked up for the potato is to use an electric whisk instead of a masher - fewer lumps and you don't have to get a really sore arm. It's now my go-to technique for doing even a small amount, but for a large amount it's brilliant. I love both fabrics, but would probably choose the Simply Colour.

*Recipe from Delia Smith, as was the potato tip, actually. It tasted really good, the only thing was, by the time I'd crushed enough juniper berries for 15 portions, I was craving gin!

  104. Congrats on 100! I'm a new follower :) My go-to for potlucks is homemade mac and cheese. I use a version of Martha Stewart's recipe and add baked chicken chunks (usually breaded), and top with french's fried onions. It is a caloric heart attack and everyone LOVES it.
I think I'd pick the simply color. Although, I am quite the Christmas lover...

I like to make sweet potato casserole for any large/holidayish get togethers. I don't really do the potluck thing.
I would love Simply Color. Thanks for the chance to win and congrats on the 100.
